About Deskspark
We built the tool we wished a desk already had.
Recruitment agencies have been stuck picking between two bad defaults: a generic sales CRM wearing a recruiting skin, or a legacy ATS that prices every real feature as an add-on. Deskspark is what happens when you start over from the actual shape of a desk.
Why we built it
Every recruiter we talked to described the same daily friction: a candidate's real status lives in someone's head, not the system, because updating the system takes longer than just remembering it. The CRM was built for a sales team chasing one deal per contact — not a desk juggling a candidate, a client, and a job at the same time, all moving at different speeds.
The alternative — a purpose-built recruiting ATS — usually gets the shape right and gets the pricing wrong. Resume parsing, candidate matching, drafted emails: real features, sold back to you one integration at a time, on top of a list price that was never really the price.
Deskspark starts from a different assumption: if the desk's real unit of work is candidate + client + job, that should be the data model, not three tables joined awkwardly after the fact. And if talking is faster than typing, the AI copilot should be wired into that model directly — not a chat window sitting on top of a tool that still expects a form.
What we actually believe
Voice-first, not form-first
Every recruiting tool we looked at asks you to type your day into forms. We think talking to your CRM should work as well as talking to a colleague — so Vicki is wired into the actual data model, not bolted on as a chatbot skin.
One price means one price
We kept seeing the same pattern: a low list price, then every real feature metered behind an add-on request. Deskspark's tiers differ by seat count and support level — never by withholding something we've already built.
Built around the desk, not the deal
A candidate, a client, and a job are one connected shape — not three separate records a recruiter has to keep in sync by hand. That's the actual unit of work on a desk, so it's the actual data model, not a sales pipeline wearing recruiting labels.
Honest about where we are
We're a new company. We don't have a wall of client logos or five years of reviews to show you, and we'd rather say that plainly than fake it with stock testimonials. What you see on this site — the screenshots, the pricing, the comparisons — is real.
